This is our main fundraising event of the year, organised by Rotarian Ray Johnson.

How to enter

Please note: Headphones are strictly prohibited (bone conduction headphones are acceptable)

For postal applications, please send:

  1. One large self-addressed envelope with stamp
  2. Cheque for entry fee(s) made out to 'Folkestone Rotary Club'

The closing date for postal entries is September 19th 2024. Entries after that date to be collected on the day. Race numbers will be sent around two weeks before race day.

Route

  • Distance: 13.1 miles (21.1 km)
  • Location: Folkestone to Hythe (and back again)
  • Terrain: Mainly flat promenade, mostly free of road traffic

Prizes

  • Cash prizes and trophies for race winners — various categories
  • £100 to both first male and first lady home
  • Medals are awarded to all finishers
