Santa's Grotto

Santa is visiting Folkestone again this year!
We are are delighted that Santa will once again be visiting the streets and homes of Folkestone during December this year. Find out where and when by clicking here

Visit Santa in his Grotto from the comfort of your own home
Due to the success of last year's Virtual Grotto, however, and by arrangement with Santa, we have made it possible for parents or guardians to book a short conversation on Zoom for their children with Santa in his Grotto. He has asked us to restrict each talk to two or three minutes so that he can speak to as many children as possible. If there is more than one child in a household, they can all talk to Santa together, if they wish.

Opening Times
Santa will be available in his Grotto on three different occasions:

  • Friday, 17th December: 5 pm to 8 pm
  • Saturday, 18th December: 5 pm to 8 pm
  • Sunday, 19th December: 5 pm to 8 pm

Why we are asking for your donation

Each year, we spend the money that you give us at Christmas on helping to make Christmas memorable for those who are particularly short of Christmas cheer. Year by year, we assist in various ways, but one remains constant. Each year we buy quantities of Christmas goodies, pack them in bags and deliver them directly to people’s houses. This year, we are buying and packing more than a hundred and arranging for them to be delivered.

Whether or not we bring Santa around the streets, we are still spreading practical Christmas cheer to our neighbours who need our help.

Please give generously.
