Folkestone's First Charity Pancake Race

Tuesday February 20th 2007 (in Folkestone Town Centre)

Thank you to everyone who entered into the spirit of this new venture by donning chef's hat and apron and racing through Folkestone Town Centre on a rather wet day! The funds raised by the race will go towards our International Fund which this year will pay for treatment for pregnant women to prevent passing on AIDS to their unborn children. The fund will also go towards the Rotary Shelterbox fund, which provides a temporary home for families in areas where natural disasters have occurred, such as earthquakes or tsunami.
